Fun stuff: several days ago, Node.js was forked into Ayo.js, because some high-ranking community members did not like the conduct of another high-ranking community member (a member of Node's technical steering committee), but failed to kick him out of the committee. Apparently, the divide was triggered by him tweeting a link to the article against strict codes of conduct. The links explaining the drama are this HN thread and a long response in that member’s blog.

Twitter, it seems, is the root of much evil.
