А почему, собственно? Почему confidential legal advice, во время которого адвокат может давать подсудимому советы о том, как обмануть систему или как смягчить наказание, ведет к fair trial? Почему secret ballot, из-за которого невозможно установить, кто именно за кого/что проголосовал и, следовательно, выше вероятность фальсификации, ведет к fair elections (понятно, что тайно голосующему можно не бояться гнева непроголосованного или презрения соголосующих, но fairness-то тут при чем?)?

Это осмысленные слова или пропагандистская ерундень?
