"Calling people out" (gosh, how I hate this phrase) "isn't censorship".

Also, in the same breath: "So why haven't platforms like Facebook and Twitter taken broader action against this small number of accounts?"

I've never worked at a big tech company, so I can't really appreciate the full meaning of this, but this slide by a speaker from Yandex (very supportive of the practices):

reminded me of a recent tweet by an ex-googler, very resentful of them:

The ex-googler is now at Microsoft; would be interesting to know whether Microsoft's vision regarding the web or its practices for assessing the performance of its employees are any better than Google's.
