(no subject)

A Spectator author wrote a blog post about the Swedish girl (about a week ago).

What’s curious is that he is probably to the right on the political spectrum (only in that blog post there are motifs of the decaying Europe, of the tragedy of irreligion, of the perverse nature of the European leadership; of Bernie’s dotage); and yet his objections to the girl are leftist in essence: her speech is "the whitest thing anyone has ever said at the UN"; her ideology is "for rich white people"; environmentalism threatens with "no air-conditioners for the Indians, no children for the Africans". Does he consider these objections valid? Is he ashamed of belonging to "rich white people"? Does he care about the Indians and the Africans?
