"Covers sell books," begins a journalist and then proceeds to analyze the covers of the US and the UK editions of Hillary’s memoirs and complaining on how the UK edition is visually inferior to the US counterpart:

I was amused with how my untrained and uncultured glance gave me a completely opposite impression. To me, despite an ordinary font and uneven kerning, the cover with the photo was more vivid, more energetic, more attention-grabbing, more... attractive. Purely in the marketing sense; not that I would be interested in reading the book anyway (I already had a chance to grab a free copy; I passed). Still, if covers sell books, I couldn’t help thinking that I would sooner be sold with the cover on the right. Which, the journalist thinks, is a total disaster.
