The sky was a cerulean blue...

Частенько, оказывается, мелькает в их литературе: "The sky was a cerulean blue..." Учитывая, что cerulean происходит от латинского caeruleus и далее от латинского же caelum (небо), картинка получается особенно трогательная. "Небо было небесно-голубым". Гм.
