Look at those devs, who are mocking Basecamp for sending out emails with the announcement that they are looking for Rails programmers. Isn't it just plain weird? I've never personally used Basecamp products, and doubt they will ever attract a massive user base; but I would consider it a great opportunity for a developer to work there. They have a mature remote-work culture, and they presumably have pretty strong developers for teammates.
