The idiot-mocking spelling — a seemingly chaotic (although probably just mostly an alternating) combination of upper-case and lower-case letters — has escaped from the memespace and twitterverse into the real life. It must be something relatively new — I don't think I've heard popular linguists comment on this (on the other hand, I haven't heard from popular linguists recently at all):
