Though you may still hear that phrase used by some Scrum teams, the authors of The Scrum Guide changed “product backlog grooming” to “product backlog refinement” several years ago. The term “grooming” has extremely negative connotations in some parts of the world. “Product backlog refinement” sounds more professional.
