An Indian accent is not an obstacle for someone intent on hosting a podcast:

I am trying to remember where I heard other non-native speakers being podcast hosts. Software Engineering Radio has a host of hosts (😃), some with distinctly non-native voices, e.g. here's someone Dutch, and here's someone from a different part of India.
