It appears that Bret Weinstein thinks that coronaviruses are retroviruses. Here in his podcast he says, "One reason... is that it [SARS-CoV-2] is a retrovirus". He then proceeds to briefly describe retroviruses by saying — correctly — that retroviruses reverse transcribe their RNA into DNA and can then integrate this DNA into the host cell genome.

The problem with that is that coronaviruses are definitely not retroviruses. Here, for example, is an article describing lifecycle of a coronavirus; at at no point in it is reverse transcription involved. That a professor of biology, such as Weinstein, would make such a mistake is a huge red flag.
