I have trouble interpreting this emoji:

The internet describes it as "face with hand over mouth". What it reminds me of is a person, likely a female, who tries not to burst out into laughter, or who is laughing politely. Something like this:

But at the same time, it could be some kind of an "whoops" gesture, of a person who has inadvertently said too much; or even a "throw up a little in your mouth" face, although the latter is better expressed by the nauseated emoji:
