1) This is interesting. The Times published an essay on diversity, which almost (although not quite) argues in favor of diversity of thought as opposed to diversity of demographics. The second paragraph is probably the best that the article has to offer. Still, it's interesting to see opinions that challenge the politically correct and morally righteous orthodoxy appear occasionally in mainstream publications:
