BBC reported somewhat ungracefully this Tuesday on the possible appointment of some Russian as the president of Interpol. It wasn't at all clear from the report where the Russian candidate was working (could easily be in an international agency), and the soundbite from Browder that they used sounded as if he were objecting to the candidate on the grounds of him being an ethnic Russian.

It was a little surreal to hear this on a Western radio station, so I got on the internet to check who this Russian is.
