Dang it, I didn't know of Robert Sapolsky (although I've been carrying a book of his in my phone for probably over a year). I've heard the phrase rock-star professor applied to David Malan, a teacher of an introductory computer science course at Harvard. Sapolsky is easily another rock-star professor, also teaching an introductory course at the selfsame Harvard:
