Since KDE Plasma 5.13, pressing a shortcut for switching between screens (e.g. from laptop monitor to external monitor) will show this widget:



It is both a great step forward (there used to be no visual cue about which options were available) and at the same time a significant step backwards, because — at least as it works on my laptop — repeated pressing of the shortcut does not cycle between the screen options, as it used to do, and the only way of choosing a different setting is by clicking on it with a mouse.

And the worst part is, I can not find any release notes that will explain how to properly set up and use this widget.
