A good talk that almost any JS developer will relate to. I have felt the joy and the pain of optional typing (the joy when the code becomes self-documenting and catches you when you are about to do something stupid; the pain that you can no longer do anything elegant with your code) and will readily subscribe to the truth behind this variation of the good/cheap/fast statement (2nd line):
