In our app, we migrated from react-intl to js-lingui, which has its own set of ugly quirks, and that felt like a stupid waste of time and effort. And only yesterday I realized that static types exported by js-lingui was confusing the hell out of our type checker making it miss type errors. Damn this stupidity.
